Hobbs, NM – Monday, July 11, 2022- Debra Hicks, PE/LSI, President & CEO of Pettigrew & Associates, P.A., recently announced the promotion of Adam Roybal to Laboratory Manager. Adam joined Pettigrew & Associates in 2018, bringing a diverse educational and field experience background to the firm. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM, and has ACI and TTCP Certifications in a wide variety of construction materials. He previously served as Lab/Field Technician Supervisor and his experience includes the investigation and evaluation of construction materials, field and lab inspection of concrete, earth fills, and pavement investigations. Geotechnical experience includes field sampling, resistivity testing, strata identification and client reports. He is also experienced with special inspection and construction surveying.
Adam’s project experience includes energy, airports, highway and transportation, federal, educational facilities, commercial, industrial and private sector projects. He has been involved in planning and execution of site reconnaissance, geotechnical analysis and design recommendations, foundations and quality assurance. He is adept in the evaluation of construction material performance relating to soil, portland cement concrete, and asphalt. Adam resides in Hobbs, NM with his wife Liz.
