Jose joined Pettigrew’s Construction Services Team in 2025 as an Engineering Technician I, and in a short time, he has demonstrated exactly what it means to step up, learn, and support the team wherever he is needed.

This quarter, Jose expanded beyond his regular responsibilities to provide much-needed support to our geotechnical team. He took on geotechnical sampling and DCP testing, and he is continuing to broaden his skills by learning rebar inspections. His nominators consistently highlighted his willingness to take on new challenges, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and genuine interest in learning and improving.

Jose has also made a great impression on our clients in the field. A W5 Construction foreman specifically recognized how much he enjoyed working with Jose and how Jose’s guidance helped crews achieve proper compaction and keep work moving efficiently. Oxy staff have also shared that they enjoy working with him.
