Hobbs, NM- Friday, December 19, 2025 – Debra P. Hicks, PE/LSI, President & CEO, recently announced the company’s Eleventh Annual Employee of the Year, Mrs. Emma Ambrosio, EIT.
The prestigious award honors an individual who exemplifies excellence, demonstrates a strong commitment to both clients and colleagues, and consistently represents Pettigrew’s values of integrity, technical expertise, and community-focused service.
Mrs. Ambrosio serves as an Engineer Intern III in the Engineering Department. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biosystems Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona and currently holds her Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Arizona. Throughout the year, Emma has distinguished herself through exceptional communication, technical accuracy, and dedication to project success. Her next milestone is preparing to sit for the Professional Engineer (PE) exam.
Emma was selected from the four 2025 Employee of the Quarter honorees, and her contributions during the year have consistently elevated project outcomes, strengthened client relationships, and supported internal collaboration across multiple departments.“Emma exemplifies the spirit of excellence that drives Pettigrew & Associates forward.
