ACCREDITATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES meets the requirements of the ASTM
E-329-09 Standard Specification for Agencies Engaged in the Testing and/or Inspection of Materials Used in Construction. AASHTO accreditation includes verification of all equipment necessary to perform the listed test methods.
P&A is classified as a qualified supplier for Quality Control for Washington TRU Solutions, accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and the Cement and Concrete Research Laboratory (CCRL). P&A is a Corps of Engineers Validated Laboratory granted according to ER 1110-1-261 defining the requirement for the Quality Assurance of testing procedures. In addition, P&A’s laboratory is accredited by the New Mexico Department of Transportation. PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES actively participates in annual laboratory proficiency testing programs with the NMDOT, AMRL, and CCRL.
PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES is also the only NQA-1 Commercial Grade Dedication firm in eastern New Mexico.
To assure the highest levels of technical competency and professionalism, PETTIGREW’s laboratory personnel maintain certifications from the following agencies:
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
- American Concrete Institute (ACI)
- New Mexico Department of Transportation/Associated General Contractors (AGC) Technician Training and Certification Program (TTCP)
