COMFORT SUITES/SLEEP INN

These two adjacent hotels were developed simultaneously and required two resubdivisions of land, a new city street and extension of wet city utilities to the sites. The Comfort Suites is a 75 room, four story facility and the Sleep Inn is a 67 room, 3 story facility.

PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES conducted geotechnical investigations for building design, traffic impact analysis including driveway permits and layout based on coordination with NMDOT and owner to determine the best driveway configuration allowed by NMDOT, topographic surveys using a combination of GPS and Conventional equipment, Utility Easements, subdivision Plats and Civil Site Design for the new Hobbs, NM location of the Hotel sites.

The site design included Phase 1 Environmental verification, preparation of Control plan, Site Grading and Drainage plan, Utility plan, SWPPP plans, and Street and Utility plan documents to the City of Hobbs.

PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES also provided Construction Staking and Construction Materials testing for Quality control of civil site improvements, and As-built verification and Engineering Inspection for certification to City specifications.
