BEL AIRE CENTER

The landmark center in northeast Hobbs was recently purchased and is being redeveloped to optimize space use and expand potential retail opportunities. The center has a challenge in dealing with a flood channel that runs through the site. Through innovative reworking of the flood channel and surrounding land uses, a potential for additional retail sites and a small Multi-Family residential development is proposed.

PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES, working with the new owner is providing surveying services, including ALTA/boundary survey, easement and right of way surveys, topographic surveys for design, and construction staking. Engineering services include HECRAS flood calculations and redesign of floodway, civil site layout and design, and coordination with city engineering and planning particularly in their drainage master plan and roadway right of way requirements.
