The landmark center in northeast Hobbs was recently purchased and redeveloped to optimize space and expand potential retail opportunities. The center had a challenge dealing with a flood channel that runs through the site. Through innovative reworking of the flood channel and surrounding land uses, a potential for additional retail sites and a small Multi-Family residential development was constructed.
PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES, provided surveying services, including ALTA/boundary survey, easement and right of way surveys, topographic surveys for design, and construction staking. Engineering services include HECRAS flood calculations and redesign of floodway, civil site layout and design, and coordination with city engineering and planning particularly in their drainage master plan and roadway right of way requirements.
