Historical Resume

            Pettigrew & Associates, a Professional Association, was established in October 1996 as a consulting engineering firm and offers full-service design and construction civil engineering, land and construction surveying, and materials testing.

Over the years Pettigrew & Associates has, with careful and assiduous effort, assembled a competent, experienced and dedicated staff of professional and technical personnel with diverse capabilities who work together as a team in meeting the goals and requirements of it clients.  Participation of these employees in technical societies is encouraged and supported on a continuing basis.

Past successes of the Clovis, New Mexico office enabled and encouraged Pettigrew & Associates to open their second office in Hobbs, New Mexico in December 1982 to broaden geographical coverage in order to better accommodate their clients and to increase efficiency to projects in the area.  In addition, the firm possesses mobile office capabilities, which can be utilized for projects that require performance away from their base of operations.

Debra P. Hicks became the new sole shareholder and president of Pettigrew & Associates in June 1990.  Under Ms. Hick’s direction, the firm experienced rapid growth and expanded its working region to include many southwestern states.  With modern technology and mobile capabilities, a decision was made in the late 90’s to close the Clovis office.

The firm has extensive civil engineering experience from federal, state, county and municipal projects.  This experience includes roads, highways, airports, sanitary sewers, storm drainage systems, parking facilities, and water systems.

It can be substantiated that Pettigrew & Associates has earned and enjoys an excellent reputation in meeting prescribed schedules and deadlines.  When required, additional support is provided to maintain schedules within time limitations.
